As most of you know there was a fight this past week at school. It seems like everybody had an opinion. I don't believe fighting solves anything. The one who "wins" may feel better about whatever. The one who "loses" feels worse and wants to feel better. People pick sides for a variety of reasons. It solves nothing. In a week or two will anybody remember what the fight was about?
Tell me, what purpose did it serve?
We've had discussions on uniforms and I am hugely in favor of uniforms. I've stated my opinions, so here is your chance to state yours.
I believe uniforms are good for the following reasons:
They save money- fewer school clothes need to be purchased
They solve hassles- dress code is simpler for everyone
They save time- I promise you can sleep later
Research shows improved grades and a decrease in discipline problems
People are judged less on their clothing and more on who they are
So post and opinion.

I personal think the fight was stupid I and think it should have been stoped soon because one of the kids got really hurt this time and from what I can remember from the last 8 years I have beem at this school that is worst someone has got hurt. About the uniforms there are reasons I like them and there are reasons I don't like them but if I got pick if we wore them or no I would not want to.

i think the fight is pointless...and i agree it solves nothing. someones happy for the moment, but doesnt that person feel the least bit bad for hurting him??
about the uniforms- i am all for them!! i wake up at 6:00. which is 1 hr. and 40 min. before i actually leave the house!! with all the ironing, and changing shirts and jeans, it takes me every bit of that hour and 40 min. to get ready. if we had uniforms, all we'd have to do is pick out what color shirt to wear, and maybe iron occasionally....
then i could sleep until 7:00!! :) talk about a time saver!! hehe
and i agree about the people that are being picked out because they dont wear certain clothes..that is crazy...
but if we had uniforms that person that was picking on someone because of the clothes is just as good/bad as the person their picking on. so i think uniforms could definatly help us!
